The time required for a specific surgical procedure depends on what is being done. Minor procedures are often completed in about 30 minutes, but the time varies, depending on the individual patient. Dr. Taylor can give you an estimate of the time required for your procedure, but check in, anesthesia and recovery time are also required, regardless of the time spent in the operating room.
