Skin laxity in the face and neck can be troublesome for both men and women. The ultimate goal of many facial cosmetic procedures is to TIGHTEN skin. Previously, this was accomplished by removing saggy skin with facelift surgery or temporarily filling out the skin with injectables.
FaceTite® is an innovative new treatment designed to contour the face and neck without surgery. This new technology uses radiofrequency heat and energy to melt fat and tighten skin.
FaceTite® is a scarless, minimally invasive treatment that can be done under mild sedation or a local anesthetic and offers a rapid recovery phase.
FaceTite® is the only FDA-approved device that uses radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL™) technology to simultaneously destroy fat and correct skin laxity.
RFAL™ can also be used independently of liposuction to tighten the skin around the face, neck, elbows, knees, and other body areas. Patients can obtain stunning results without the longer recovery and scarring common with surgery.

During an in-depth, personal consultation, Dr. Taylor can evaluate those who would like to correct facial skin laxity. To determine if you are a good candidate for FaceTite®, you and Dr. Taylor will discuss your goals, medical history, and medical conditions.

How Is Minimally Invasive Skin Tightening With FaceTite® Performed?
The FaceTite® device consists of an internal cannula with an electrode on the tip inserted under the skin through tiny incisions and an external electrode placed on top of the skin.
The internal electrode delivers focused energy to the fat and deeper layers of skin while the external electrode heats the skin’s surface. This causes liquefaction of the unwanted fat and contraction of loose skin at the treatment site. It may also be combined with liposuction for additional facial sculpting.
The entire procedure takes between 30 and 60 minutes, and most patients only require one treatment session to achieve the results they desire.
What Should Patients Expect After Their FaceTite® Treatment?
Most patients can return to work three to four days following their FaceTite® treatment. Patients may experience minimal bruising and swelling, but routine activities can be resumed shortly after the procedure.
Pain is usually temporary and mild, and it can be alleviated with over-the-counter pain medication, if necessary.
When Will I See My FaceTite® Results?
You will begin to see an improvement in skin laxity at around three weeks, which will continue over the next six months. You will usually be able to see your final results at this time.
How Long Do FaceTite® Results Last?
Results from FaceTite™ treatment are expected to last for up to five years.
Frequently Asked Questions About FaceTite®
-
What does FaceTite® do?
FaceTite® diminishes wrinkles and fine lines, tightens loose skin, and reduces excess fat in your lower face and neck. FaceTite™ gives people with minimal to moderate skin laxity a potential alternative to invasive surgery while achieving significant and long-lasting facial skin toning results.
-
Does FaceTite® work on the neck?
FaceTite® is designed to treat the lower face, including your cheeks, chin, and jawline. This procedure is also safe and effective to use on the neck.
-
How many FaceTite® treatments are needed?
Multiple sessions are not typically necessary with FaceTite®, which is designed to produce stunning results over the course of six months with just one treatment.
-
Does FaceTite® cause any scarring?
FaceTite® is a minimally invasive procedure that does not produce visible scarring. Tiny incisions are made in the jawline below the ears, and they heal without suturing. Because these incisions are strictly made to insert the FaceTite® cannula, they do not need to be large. This minimally invasive surgery involves significant cutting or removing of skin.
-
How does FaceTite® differ from BodyTite® and AccuTite™?
The technology used with FaceTite® is the same technology used by other InMode technologies, including BodyTite® and AccuTite™. Much like the name suggests, BodyTite® is used to tighten skin elsewhere on the body, including the abdomen, arms, hips, thighs, and buttocks. AccuTite™ also uses RF energy to tighten skin. However, this device is much smaller, giving it the opportunity to treat smaller, more delicate areas. AccuTite™ is commonly used alongside FaceTite® and BodyTite® to tighten skin.
-
Can FaceTite® be combined with other procedures?
FaceTite® can be combined with other procedures like BodyTite®, injectable fillers, neurotoxins like BOTOX® Cosmetic, and liposuction. RF skin tightening procedures, combined with liposuction, can be used as alternatives to more invasive procedures, such as facelift surgery, neck lift surgery, and other body contouring procedures.
